Mediterranean Flavour Square

The Mediterranean is a complex world, extremely rich and diverse from a historical and cultural point of view, with deep differences but also many points in common.
The food and wine traditions reflect the practices of different peoples and, therefore, represent a part of their heritage that in the “Mediterranean Flavour Squares” will be offered to the public through a journey aimed to discover flavours, scents and colours which can be unexpected but at the same time familiar.
This year, in fact, besides the possibility of tasting the tuna dishes belonging to the Carloforte tradition,  in the “Mediterranean Flavour Squares” it will be possible to taste the refined specialities of Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Morocco and Lebanon. It  will be possible to buy the ten-euro ticket for the food tasting at Il Girotonno ticket offices until they are sold out.  
The Squares represent therefore a widespread area in the centre of Carloforte: France in Piazza Repubblica, Spain and Croatia in Piazza Pegli, Italy will occupy its traditional area by the Mamma Mahon Dock, while Morocco and Lebanon will be placed in Via Porta Leone.
