Welcome to the VI edition of Il Girotonno
From May 29th to June 1st the appointment with Girotonno will be back, with many novelties:
- The International Gastronomic competition
- The World Tuna cooking class
- The Mediterranean Flavour Squares
- Carloforte Buskers Festival
It will be a four-day festival among Mediterranean flavours, activities, music, entertainment with Mrs Elisabetta Gardini as a patroness.

It 'a real pleasure for me to give you welcome the sixth edition of Girotonno.
I am proud to see thousands of people arrive in our island to share with us, citizen of Carloforte, four days of celebration, fun and good-taste.
Gara Gastronomica Internazionale
This edition theme is the creative and auteur cuisine based on red tuna in the Mediterranean countries.
The invited delegations will propose all the possible declinations of dishes based on Carloforte red tuna starting from their different perspectives...
Piazza dei sapori mediterranei
The countries participating in the event and will "taste" to "Places of Taste Mediterranean" by offering the public a voyage of discovery of flavors, fragrances and colors surprising with the refined specialties from Italy, Spain, France, Morocco, Lebanon, Croatia and Carlofortina tradition.
Carloforte Buskers Festival
The City of Carloforte, is organising the first "Carloforte Buskers Festival" to bring joy, entertainment and fun offered by street artists. Carloforte become an open-air theater where Buskers provide a continuous show, in different disciplines, without rules or timetables.
