It's a real pleasure for me to introduce to everybody the seventh edition of “Girotonno”.

I'm really proud to see thousands of people arriving in our island to share with us, citizens of Carloforte, four days of celebrations, fun and good-taste.

I want to say thank you to all collaborators who have worked everyday to reach perfection of this event.

Year after year “Girotonno” is became one of the most important event of Sardinia. It is recognised in the world thanks to the original way to whom it celebrates the tuna fishing season. During the event the red tuna is the king and it is cooked in a traditional and in an international way.

This year we focused our attention mainly to the accommodations of the tourists and the friends. In fact they are put in the middle of the event.

This year we have introduced many news. I hope that you appreciate them because our intention is to entertain you.

If you have never been to Carloforte, “Girotonno” is the good reason to do it. And so, just do it!

Come here and fall in love at first sight of Carloforte and its beautiful beaches and people.
Sometimes love it's not blind!
